Understanding Case Conversions: Title Case, Sentence Case, and inverse formatting

Converting document capitalization styles (e.g. UPPERCASE to lowercase) by hand is time-consuming. An online case converter allows writers, publishers, and programmers to instantly standardise paragraphs.

Sentence Case vs. Capitalized Case:

Sentence Case capitalizes only the first letter of each sentence, matching standard book style. Capitalized Case applies title-like styling by capitalising the first letter of every single word in the text block.

Title Case Rules:

Standard AP/Chicago Title Case capitalizes nouns, pronouns, verbs, adjectives, and adverbs, but keeps lowercase for short conjunctions and prepositions (like 'and', 'but', 'for', 'or', 'a', 'the', 'to').
